- Tenders are invited for Supply of Boat Engines and GPS for Serengeti Sub-Landscape WWF Tanzania through its Mara Wetlands Conservation project in the Serengeti Sub-Landscape, is committed to support the established Community Management Units (CMUs) in conducting monitoring, control and surveillance (MCS) within Mara Wetlands. Among the support identified are the equipment needed to enable the CMUs to combat the illegal fishing in distant waters within Mara Wetlands. WWF Tanzania, aims at procuring outboard boat engines (YAMAHA) and GPS (Garmin) for the CMUs to support them in conducting regular patrols within Mara Wetlands. These equipment aims to mitigation the persisting challenges in the MCS domain due to illegal fishing practices in distant waters.
