• Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Site: Preparation and Earthworks. Civil Works, Building and Architectural. Interested companies which meet the minimum requirements and have the capacity to provide the WORK (SERVICES) listed above should express their interest by sending together with the above listed documents an email to Biddingbox@cpptz.com (Max. Email Size: 20 MBS & All documents must be submitted in the English language) on or before 12:00 hours East African Time (EAT), on 28th January 2023. Subject of the email should be “EOI for CPP-PROC- TZ-004-1228- COMPANY NAME”. CPP reserves the right not to consider companies that submit an incorrect email subject. China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. Ltd. (hereinafter abbreviated as CPP) as Pipeline, Feederline & Above Ground Installation Contractor for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project invites experienced and reputable Contractors to express their interest in providing SITE Preparation and Earthworks, Civil Works for 1146 km ROW (30m corridor) of EACOP Project. The EACOP Project involves the development, construction, operation and maintenance of a crude oil export pipeline that originates in Kabaale, Uganda and delivers oil for marine export on the East African coast in the Tanga area in Tanzania. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE: The Civil work of EACOP project as below: ROW and ATWS Preparations- activities include: a) Marking of ROW and ATWS; pipeline center line; cultural heritage and sensitive environmental areas b) Tree felling/Bush clearing over the complete width of the ROW; c) Top soil removal over the complete width of the ROW and top soil separation and protection; d) Placement of temporary protection e) Side slopes cut and fill; f) Installation of bog mats where necessary; g) Protecting overhead power line crossings/ underground services crossed by the ROW. Temporary Access Road: upgrade exited roads and build temporary access road, reinstatement. Ditching Works: excavating, shoring, and if required sheet-pilling and trench dewatering; sheetpilling and trench dewatering. Padding/ Backfilling: The trench shall be backfilled in layers and compacted bell holes and other excavations. Material used for backfilling shall be appropriately crushed and screened. Cleaning-up / Reinstatement. Civil works for valve stations: a) Road, SITE preparation and earthworks; b) Foundation Preparation, Concrete works; c) Fencing and gate installation; d) Disposal of all surplus or unsuitable excavated material; Borrow civil materials. Any and all other civil and underground works to complete the work. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Companies expressing their interest are invited to document their request with: Company Profile include license and TIN certificate; Proof of Registered in Contractors Registration Board (CRB) with Class One in Civil Discipline; Similar experience within last three years by provided format; Key person list with CV and owned equipment list by provided format; Proof of registration/application to Local Supplier Service Provider (LSSP) database at the time of submission of the response to this expression of interest is strongly recommended; Compliance with Petroleum (Local Content) Regulations, 2017 and Local Company definition for Tanzania; Copy of certificates of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 or equivalent of them; Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years and Audit report of the last five years.
