Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Clearing and Forwarding Services to Sandvik Mining & Construction Tanzania Ltd. Scope of Work The clearing Agent will be required to: - 1. Clear consignment without incurring storage charges and demurrage or penalties by customs. They will also facilitate re-exportation ofconsignment. 2. Monitor each consignment and submit report showing clearance position and any other information until the cargo is cleared and delivered. 3. Advice the organization on existing customs/TPA regulations and charges affecting clearance and handling of cargo. A. Advice the organization promptly on payable duties and taxes. 5. Pay disbursements on behalf of the organization. Disbursement fees will be for mutually agreed payments by the clearing agents included but not limited to the Airport/ port charges, Import invoice charges and containers deposit, shipping line storage charges. 6. Timely refund of container deposits where applicable. 7. Transport consignment from port or as otherwise instructed by the organisation. 8. Load and Offload of consignments. 9. Preparation of all Tanzania Port Authority (TPA) documentation 10. Liaison with Tanzania Port Authority (TPA) 11. Available for 2Ahrs.
