Expression of Interest are invited for Litter Baseline Collection and Analysis in Dar es Salaam. Publication Date: 04-Jan-2023 Expression of Interest Deadline: 25-Jan-2023 The World Bank is pursuing an analysis of litter for Dar es Salaam to understand and plan to reduce the impact of litter. The consultant will be supporting this process by: (i) providing advice on the design of the data collection exercises for surveys, ensuring geographic coverage and statistically significant and useful data for subsequent analysis; (ii) mobilizing and executing a survey to assess the distribution of litter in public spaces in targeted areas in Dar es Salaam; (iii) providing advice on the overall design of the program of data collection and mobilization of community groups for litter mapping; (iii) adapting the litter app to Dar es Salaam conditions; (iii) training, technical-IT supervision for the use of the app as part of the community group litter data collection; (iv) processing, statistical correlations and visualization of data collected through the above surveys, and data collected separately through a household survey, drones, and secondary data.
