- Theobjective of the project is to undertake a high-level feasibility assessment ofthe reform of the Informal Public Transport (IPT) Sector in Dodoma, Tanzania. The end goal is toensure that the sector provides a safe, reliable, and affordable publictransport service enabling the broader integrated, and sustainable publictransport network, and supporting the broader city development goals/objectives in an environmentally, economically, financially, and sociallysustainable manner. The key deliverable of this assignment is to develop a IPT reform business strategy including an implementation and industry transition frameworkto ensure effective implementation of the project. This work will be an inputinto a separate appointment by the Government of Tanzania which will beresponsible for detailed planning, design, and implementation of the project.
