• Expression of Interest are invited for Development of an Eco - Lodge at Mbudya Island Marine Reserve (Beach 2) Date: 13th July, 2022 The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through Marine Parks and Reserves Tanzania which has the mandate to manage and regulate the use of areas designated as Marine Parks and Reserves is seriously looking for eligible and competent Investors with legally registered companies to develop an Ecological Lodge at Mbudya Island Marine Reserve (Beach 2) in Dar es Salaam. 2. The Marine Parks and Reserves Tanzania now invites eligible Investors to indicate their interest of the Development of an Eco — Ledge at Mbudya Island Marine Reserve (Beach 2) which has an area of Five (5) acres. 3. Interested Investors should provide information demonstrating that have experience and ability of developing, operating and managing investment projects; financial capacity; skills and ability in conserving environment, biodiversity, cultural heritage and community development by submitting Letter of Intent. 4. Multiple selection criteria shall be applied to select eligible investor in accordance with the Investment guideline. 5. Interested Investors may obtain further information from the office of the Marine Parks and Reserves Unit, Olympia Street, Plot No. 95 Upanga West, P.O. Box 7565, Dar es Selaam, from 7.30 am to 3.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays. 6. Qualified investor will be given necessary documents that will enable him prepare, Development Prospectus (DP). These include investment guidelines, EIA guidelines and other relevant documents. 7. Interested investor should deposit a non - refundable fee of $ 1500 by getting Control Number from Marine Parks and Reserves Tanzania. 8. The Expression of Interest must be submitted at Marine Parks and Reserves Tanzania, Olympia Street, Plot No. 95 Upanga West, P.O. Box 7565, Dar es Salaam with a scaled envelope Marked Development of an Eco Lodge at Mbudya [stand Marine Reserves (Beach 2) before 26* July 2022 10.00hrs. 9.
