Description:
Tenders are invited for Construction of a Computer Room at Lagosa Secondary School in Uvinza District, Kigoma Region. The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Pathfinder International in Tanzania are jointly implementing an integrated project known as TUUNGANE that holistically addresses Population, Health, and Environment (PHE) issues for communities living in Greater Mahale Ecosystems in Uvinza - Kigoma and Tanganyika - Katavi Regions. Tuungane holistic approach of integrating people, health, and environment (PHE) aims to improve the livelihood of local community by addressing issue that directly affect the wellbeing of people including health of their families, natural resources that surround them, and the availability of good community services. Tuungane program is also working toward empowering women to play an active role in biodiversity conservation and significant sustainable development opportunities and increase the effectiveness of conservation effort in different sectors while also advancing gender equity and equality. The program is planning to construct a computer room at Lagosa Secondary School in Uvinza District, Kigoma Region. Computer room will help students in learning through working with software programs, access information and most importantly, it will enable the students to acquire digital skills critical in the modern world without having to purchase their own hardware and software.
