Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Baseline Data Collection on Solid Waste Services in Dar Es Salaam. Publication Date: 04-Jan-2023 Expression of Interest Deadline: 02-Feb-2023 The objective of this assignment is to gather baselin information on solid waste collection and cleaning services in the 5 municipalities in Dar es Salaam. It will comprise a desk-study complemented by targeted field work based on statistically significant samples that will include data collection, data cleaning, analysis and visualization. The data collected are anticipated to include: (i) Geographically representative surveys to cover the urban areas of each municipality including approximately 20,000 housholds per municpality. a. Baseline background geospatial information (building footprint digitization); b. Household survey on litter management service availabilty and reliability, and opinions georeferenced to building footprint (ii) Targetted mapping of facilities: Waste dumps; community collection points; Recycling facilities. (iii) Ground truthing of litter accumulation in targeted areas.
